The dynamics were also composed of workshops and mentoring, which expands the experience of participating in the event with the stimulation of theoretical and practical knowledge.

Startup Weekend

The 1st edition of Startup Weekend was held on November 18, 19 and 20. Present in more than 160 countries, SW had 54 hours of actions and execution of business ideas.

According to one of the organizers, Christhian Sangalli, in practice, the methodology presents a business idea, validates it, develops it and applies it.

“Startup Weekend (SW) is the largest global entrepreneurship program, where people from various fields: development, design, business, come together to create a startup in a weekend. The goal is to get ideas off the ground, forming multidisciplinary groups”, highlights the coordinator of Startup SC, Alexandre Souza. “Much more than a competition, SW proposes, through entrepreneurship, to inspire, educate and support individuals, teams and communities that aspire to transform their environments through innovation”, he stresses.

According to Souza, the benefits for those who participate are enormous, with creativity, learning to listen, work in a team and communication.
